The RX module is well on the way to completion. The BPFs have been attached to the mixer and IF section and the demod box is ready for wiring.
The front panel now has the back plane fitted which carries the PPLL VFO,band switching logic board and the SCAF filter. Drilling the front panel is next,not something I enjoy as there is no margin for error. The LCD display is a problem as my metalwork skills are not that good so it might be fitted behind a bezel to hide any roughness.
The next stage will be to wire up the front panel and connect the RX modules so at least there should be a working receiver. Then the TX LPF board needs to be drilled and populated. RX/TX switching is not yet designed neither is the TX drive nor keying circuit. The PA stage also needs fitting to the back panel.
