During a week of very changeable weather in Wales I managed a couple of /P sessions. Setting up in an NT car park right on the coast produced some very good results. Tuning around the SSB section of 20m produced BH7PFH,VU2DK,VK4TUX,VK2IR,W6CCP,W8XH and on CW W7VV who I think was in QSO with [...] I have completed the Smallwonder SW+ 20,it is now in a diecast box and just needs the controls labelling. There is space for a keyer and the RIT which will come later. First contacts have renewed my interest in QRP. At the moment the rig is attached to an end fed half wave literally [...] I have just finished building a Small Wonder Labs SW+ 20. Nothing spectacular in that but using it for QSOs yesterday took me back to my first brush with radio. Around 50+ years ago I discovered a box of crystal set parts in my grandfather’s shed.
