This was the first time I had made an effort to enter SKW. It was a good experience and certainly got me on the air. I managed to work 50 stations (one uncompleted QSO) in a week which was twice as many since the start of 2011! Here is a breakdown;the results show 14 [...] Time to dust off those old brass straight keys as it’s FISTS straight key week ,0001 UTC on 5th September to 2359 UTC on 11th September 2010. Both UK and US FISTS clubs stations have been active so some rare calls can be worked. More details here It is about 50 years since I first started playing with radio.
